SCNL Conducts Participatory Land Use Planning Workshop For Forest Edge-Communities

Promoting growth, expanding agricultural activities

As a part of implementing the Liberia Forest Sector Project, (LFSP), funded by the Forestry Development Authority, (FDA), the Society for the Conservation of Nature of Liberia (SCNL) is conducting a workshop for communities and stakeholders in Salayea District, Lofa County to develop a participatory land-use plan for the District. The land-use plans will include community forest conservation zones as well as identify areas suitable for agricultural production and other land-used activities within the district.
