Membership Scheme
The General Assembly meets once every three years to review progress of the Society’s programs and financial standings. In order to become a part of the General Assembly (GA) of the society, one must become a member of the society through the acquisition of a membership form, completing and returning the same, including payment of required membership fees.
SCNL is a membership based organization and welcomes corporate bodies, institutions, groups and individuals with interest in the Society’s objectives and wishing to become member to do so. The members that make up the General assembly take on membership based on categories and associated entitlements, highlighted below.
To become a member of SCNL today, please complete and submit the form below. An SCNL staff member will contact you within two days to complete the paperwork. Below are categories of membership.
Regular Member
Any interested person residing in Liberia is eligible. Such membership shall receive copies of the society’s publications and enjoy all privileges of voting; holding elected or appointed offices and all other privileges and rights that may from time to time be associated with regular membership.
Student Member
Any student within or that has not completed grade level and /or undergraduate schooling. A student shall attend all meetings of the society, take part in decision and vote, but shall not stand as candidate for office of the board of directors.
Affiliate Member
Any group of individuals, organizations, corporation, unincorporated society and partnership, local or foreign that share the goal and aspiration of the society and is willing to contribute to the achievements of its objectives and provide support to the society’s program is eligible. Such member shall not have voting right, but may attend meetings as an observer.
Honorary Member
A person who has made outstanding contribution to the conservation of nature and natural resource, specifically in Liberia and the world wide is eligible. Honorary membership may be conferred by the general membership upon nomination by the board of directors.

- Annual Fees – US$5.00
Affiliate Membership Fees
- Registration Fees – US$10.00
- Annual Fees – US$30.00
Honorary Membership Fees
- Registration Fees – US$75.00
- Annual Fees – No fees, Contribute to the organization at your will.
In addition to the membership application fee, each member is required to make an annual membership due payment in support of the secretariat and core programs outside of donor funding.
